Context clues

Use contextual information when interpreting kids’ emotions and behaviors. 

Why this technique
Sometimes how a kid looks like they’re feeling about your product may not be what it seems. For example, yawning is a good indication of boredom, but it may just mean that the kid is tired. Another example is tapping rhythmically; for one kid, it can mean they are concentrating, while for another, it could mean they are bored or off-task.
