Provide a checklist to parents in advance about what’s needed for the research session. For example, a laptop with Zoom installed, a sufficiently charged laptop and tablet, desk space, and internet access.

Why this technique
Since you won’t be there to set everything up for parents, providing a glanceable checklist will help them prep. It’ll allow the session to run smoothly with less likelihood of parents running around trying to gather things while kids sit around waiting impatiently.
